What is a Health and Wellness Coach?

Health Coaches (also called Wellness Coaches) can often be mistaken for nutritionists, fitness instructors or therapists.  While these professions all focus on people getting healthier, health coaches have a more holistic and comprehensive approach to wellness.  At IMPACT, we have built programs around the wellness wheel made up of 4 major areas:  Movement, Intake, Sleep, and Stress Management.  Our experienced and certified health coaches will work one-on-one to create long-term success.  Appointments are client-centered and used to strategize how we can make lifestyle habit changes and apply them into our real world.

Side Effects of working with one of our certified health coaches:

  • Regulating Hormones
  • Weight loss (if this is a goal of yours)
  • Improved blood work
  • Improved energy
  • Improved sleep
  • Decreased joint pain
  • Improved mood
  • Improved sex drive
  • Improved posture
  • Muscle tone
  • Skin….improved texture and elasticity

What IMPACT is NOT:

At IMPACT, we do not prescribe any medications including weight loss meds, appetite suppressants, or hormone replacement therapy. We  can support anyone taking any of those and help you optimize effectiveness.  We are not associated with any multi-level marketing company and all of our education comes from reputable Health Coaching courses including The Mayo Clinic, The Institute for Natural Resources, and the Institute for Brain Potential.  To keep our licenses up to date, we take continuing education courses.
